TG Pro natively supports both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs, from 2008 all the way up to the latest models. It is fully compatible with macOS 13 Ventura, all the way back to macOS 10.13 High Sierra. It also has a separate secure service for fan control, only HTTPS/SSL connections and built-in support for the Internet Access Policy (when using Little Snitch). TG Pro is notarized by Apple and uses the Hardened Runtime. In addition, get local or email notifications for temperature and diagnostic events, along with full logging to a CSV file for further analysis. If the Mac starts to get too hot, it's easy to either manually boost the fan speeds to improve cooling, or let TG Pro do it automatically using rules. See what was previously hidden, by viewing CPU, GPU, logic board, battery and HD temperatures, check hardware diagnostics to find problems before they occur, as well as fan speeds. It supports all Intel and Apple Silicon processors including the M2 Max, M2 Pro, M2, M1 Ultra, M1 Max, M1 Pro and M1. ![]() Whether it's a brand new 2023 MacBook Pro with M2 Max, a Mac Studio, a classic Intel iMac or anything in-between, it will help to keep it cool and running at peak performance. I guess that there is another problem which can't be identified by the onboard diagnosis, but I have no clue what it could be.Extend the life of your Mac using TG Pro. My assumption is that the new battery is okay because the onboard-diagnosis is showing no errors as it did with the old battery. came up a few days/weeks later after replacing the battery without using the Mac in between. When logged in it shows Kernel_Task at 500% and CPU is limited to 800MHz. 3 seconds it turns on and starts booting. Only when holding the Power Button for more than approx. 3 seconds it directly crashes when the Power Button is released. When trying to start it up again by short pressing the power button nothing happens, when holding the power button for less than approx. "When I tried to start the Mac it just crashes after a few seconds being in boot-screen. After replacing the old (original apple) battery with the new one (iFixit repair kit) it worked without any problems. However this time, the onboard diagnostics was showing no errors at all.Ĭoconut Battery is showing good values, I’ve installed Tunabelly TG Pro to check if I damaged a temperature sensor - all showing plausible values.ĭoes anybody have an idea what could be the problem here and what could be done to fix - I thought that the new battery solved the problem. When logged in it shows Kernel_Task at approx. ![]() When I tried to start the Mac it just crashes after a few seconds being in boot-screen. Some days ago I’ve tried to start the Mac (wanted to sell it) and it was behaving totally unresponsive. After installing the new battery the device was behaving totally normal with no remarkable Kernel_Task usage (around 5%). 500% it was totally unusable (onboard diagnostics stating that the Battery is damaged). With the old battery installed I was able to get the device running but with Kernel_Task at approx. They also did a factory reset, but I replaced the battery with an iFixit Kit because Apple had no batteries in store to fix it. Knowing that the battery had +1200 cycles I knew that this was clearly necessary. I’ve handed the device to apple support, they’ve told me that the battery is totally dead and that it must be replaced. In recovery I was not able to reinstall MacOS BigSur because FileVault was locking me out (known BigSur-Bug). After several attempts restating the device, doing SMC or NVRAM resets it prompted me to a really buggy login screen, that was not usable at all (cursor was in cyan, password line in magenta and some others). Two months ago my MacBook suddenly just switched of (black screen, no response). I will describe my findings really detailed here trying not to miss something. ![]() I am having some issues with my MacBook Pro Retina (mid 2014) that I am not able to reproduce or locate.
